About the role:
The primary purpose of this role is to support with in-field customer warranty diagnosis & repairs for the BOXER MIV.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Diagnostics, maintenance and repair of military vehicles and equipment in the field in compliance with technical service and statutory regulations
Independent deployment at a customer’s site, with responsibility for order processing and contractual documentation
Compliance with and monitoring of statutory regulations, particularly those involving safety at work and environmental protection
Responsible for the preparation of safe and compliant work sites, materials and tools
Customer care & satisfaction
Execution of fault-finding, defect diagnosis, planned & un-planned maintenance and repair work at all relevant stages
Accurate completion of all documentation inclusive of job sheets and work orders
What we’re looking for:
Candidates must have the following essential qualifications and experience:
C&G Heavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent)
Minimum of grade C in English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent)
Experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance & repair, ideally in the field of military equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery or specialist vehicle manufacture
Skill and experience in the operation of diagnostic equipment, diagnostics and troubleshooting
Knowledge of English language, written and spoken
Good PC skills, particularly with the common MS Office applications
Experience in completion of relevant technical documentation and paperwork as dictated by industry
The following are desirable:
Military vehicle technical / maintenance experience
Driving licence Class C (HGV2) minimum
HGV MOT Inspector (DVSA qualified)
Knowledge of German language to be desired
Recent exposure to electronic fleet management systems
