About the role:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the production function and ensuring a continuous process flow is sustained with components that require dressing, shot peen, hammer peen and gauging.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
· Dressing various components in line with specification and achieve quality standards
· Shot peen & Hammer peen various components in line with specification and achieve quality standards
· Gauging of various components in line with specification and achieve quality standards
· General housekeeping and labouring duties across the site (emptying bins, brushing- up, mopping and occasionally painting etc.) if required
· Comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and identify health and safety hazards prior to the commencement of work.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area as required.
What we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous experience within a similar role
· Stacker/FLT licence is desirable
· Ability to conduct work duties in in a manner that is safe for themselves and colleagues.
· Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
· Develops a collaborative approach to meet multiple and potentially conflicting requests
· Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels of the business
· Ability to prioritise, use own initiative and organise work with minimal supervision
