About the role:
The primary purpose of this role is to receive vehicle components, kit and supply line-side in a safe and timely manner, Maintain good housekeeping methods and behaviours within the purpose-built facility and to support the Warehouse Manager with service delivery and improvement initiatives.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
· Support a small shift team in the Warehouse operations;
· Ensure safe receipt of goods and timely assessment and processing into stock/ kits/ line-side/ quarantine;
· Receive product specific training to understand process flow and the needs of your internal customers;
· Work with Warehouse, Quality and Production teams to ensure goods are available where and when needed;
· Contribute to the safe, tidy and professional running of the Warehouse operation;
· Accurate kitting activity, completion of supporting forms and hand-held devices as per training provided;
· Safely deliver workflow activities to Production schedule;
· Engage constructively in training provided and identify any areas which are unclear;
· Seek and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, cost, quality, delivery and environmental performance – we want you to feel a part of the process and your feedback is valued;
· Collate data to support Warehouse performance metrics
· Support the Warehouse customer focus – presentation of image and working standards to internal customers and external visitors
What we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Current UK Driving Licence
· FLT Licence
· Previous experience of warehouse operations
